The Paso del Norte Health Information Exchange (PHIX) in El Paso, Texas, enables data sharing between regional hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare providers. PHIX’s clinical viewer allows doctors to access patient records, resulting in reduced hospital readmissions and emergency department visits.
