Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) has updated its Infrastructure Adoption Model (INFRAM) to help hospitals and health systems analyse and optimise their technical infrastructure. The new framework is structured around five key principles: cybersecurity, adoption, sustainability, performance and outcomes. The system has eight stages, and only two health systems globally have achieved Stage 7. The updated model will be launched in Orlando, Florida on 12 March.
