Medical supplier Solara Medical Supplies has agreed to pay $3 million and undergo a corrective action plan in a settlement with the HHS Office for Civil Rights over potential HIPAA violations. The case stemmed from a 2019 phishing attack against Solara that affected over 114,000 people and a failure to adequately report and respond to the breach.
