HHS awards $350,000 to bolster cybersecurity in healthcare

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) will provide $350,000 in funding to improve information sharing about cyber threats in the healthcare industry. The funding will be given to the National Health Information Sharing and Analysis Center (NH-ISAC), which will use it to build infrastructure to disseminate cyber threat information securely to healthcare partners. The goal is to streamline the process of sharing cyber threat information and better protect patient privacy and data.
