Hudson Rock cybersecurity researchers have discovered a new attack by the HellCat ransomware group which targets four firms in the US and Europe. The credentials for the Jira system were previously stolen by infostealer malware. Some of the victims include Poland’s Asseco Poland, HighWire Press and Racami in the US, and Sweden’s LeoVegas Group. Hudson Rock advises companies to monitor and react to signs of infostealer infections, and to secure their Jira systems with additional authentication factors.
