Healthcare IT Leaders entered into an agreement to become part of Kyndryl

August 10, 2026
Today we begin a new chapter in our company’s history.
For 15 years, we’ve worked with health systems and healthcare companies to design an organization they can turn to for expertise at every stage of their clinical and business systems journeys. We listened. We learned. And we built a strong reputation as trusted partner.
Today, our teams are the “humans in the loop” supporting some of the nation’s largest digital healthcare platforms. We’ve reached a point in our growth story where it makes sense to join forces with an organization that can help us scale. An organization that can help us do the things we do best for even more companies that need us.
So, as of this morning, we’ve entered into an agreement to become part of Kyndryl, one of the world’s largest infrastructure and technology services firms.
“This agreement is a strong validation of what we’ve built at Healthcare IT Leaders (HITL),” added founder and executive chairman Bob Bailey. “I’m grateful for our associates, clients and consultants who have put their faith in us and who helped us get to where we are today. Our team has achieved so much, and now—with Kyndryl’s support—we’re poised to increase our offerings, scale and quality to deliver even better outcomes for our clients and communities.”
Kyndryl’s backing enables us to deepen our commitment to human-led healthcare IT services for our current and future clients. Kyndryl brings industry-leading infrastructure services and AI modernization. We bring years of healthcare talent solutions, consulting, and application management expertise across a wide range of clinical, operational, and workforce platforms. Working together, we’ll be better equipped to serve clients in an increasingly complex healthcare market.
We’re excited to step forward into a new era as part of the Kyndryl team.
Kind regards,
Ben Hilmes
CEO, Healthcare IT Leaders
