Healthcare hit with MOVEit, malware uses trig, OpenAI shakeup

The Virgin Pulse platform Welltok leaked data from 1.6 million people via the MOVEit breach. In another item, security researchers note that the Lumma malware uses trigonometry to differentiate real machines from sandboxes. OpenAI was in crisis over the weekend after it fired its CEO and co-founder; Microsoft has hired them to lead a new AI research team. On a local scale, two companies contracted by the Canadian government got breached, leading to a data leak affecting government employees.
