The Chippewa Valley Health Cooperative is set to purchase St. Joseph’s Hospital building in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, from Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) following a letter of intent issued in December. The cooperative intends to use the facility to offer patient care while constructing another hospital in Lake Hallie, Wisconsin. The feasibility of reopening the facility will be confirmed within 90 days.
