The Center for Internet Security has developed a framework of 20 controls called CIS Controls to improve healthcare cybersecurity. These controls have been found to be effective by healthcare organizations such as Butler Health System. Implementing these controls helps in demonstrating progress, bringing focus, measurement, and prioritization to security projects, and ultimately leading to information security maturity.
