Health Net, Centene Fined $11M For Cybersecurity Failures

Health Net Federal Services and its parent company, Centene Corporation, have agreed to pay more than $11 million to resolve allegations of falsely certifying compliance with cybersecurity requirements under a contract with the U.S. Department of Defense. The companies failed to meet standards while administering the Defense Health Agency’s TRICARE health benefits programme from 2015 to 2018.
