Health board apologises for cyber attack ‘anxiety’

The NHS Dumfries and Galloway health board issued an apology after a significant cyber attack accessed a considerable amount of identifiable patient and staff data over a month ago. Though it experienced criticism for its information release about the attack, the health board maintained that its services were largely unaffected and no data altered or deleted.
