Fidelity National Services was targeted by a ransomware attack conducted by ALPHV, also known as BlackCat. The firm didn’t give many details, only saying they “acquired certain credentials”. BlackCat has the unique tactic of publicly posting stolen information to extort victims. They reportedly account for 25% of all malware attacks in 2023, including high-profile ones like Reddit and MGM.
