Pinnacle, which serves around 450,000 patients, has taken affected systems offline and is investigating the breach with the police and other agencies. Patients are advised to remain vigilant, and although practices remain operational, there may be delays. The incident follows a similar cyberattack on the former Waikato District Health Board last year.
