Cyberhaven confirmed the breach on Christmas Eve, suggesting it was part of a wider campaign to target Chrome extension developers. Other affected extensions are related to artificial intelligence and virtual private networks, indicating an aim of sucking up sensitive data. Cyberhaven is cooperating with federal law enforcement.
