Hackers could exploit ChatGPT for cyber attacks on NHS and Ministry of Defence says Oxford professor

ChatGPT, an AI tool capable of crafting complex code, could be exploited by criminals to launch cyber attacks on the UK’s NHS or Ministry of Defence, warned Michael Wooldridge, an Oxford professor. He suggests that these ‘large language models’ have no ethical boundaries and can produce code quickly and without human input, potentially creating a circumstance in which cyber attacks could be more frequent and far-reaching.
