Great Plains Regional Medical Center in Oklahoma was the victim of a ransomware attack that impacted 133,000 people and compromised their personal data. The attack, which occurred between September 5 to 8, 2024, led to the encryption and copying of some files. The medical center recovered most of the information and restored normal operations, but some patient data remains lost.
