Manipal Hospitals has expanded its use of AI and data analytics from Google Cloud to enhance its pharmacy operations and nurse workflows. The hospital uses Google’s ePharmacy platform, which uses AI and analytics to simplify prescription processing, patient data transfer and cart management. This has reduced order processing time to under five minutes and reduced handover duration by 78%. The platform processes over 60,000 data entries daily and operates on Google Kubernetes Engine. The move builds on Manipal’s partnership with Google Cloud in 2022.
