Google malware exploit allows hackers to access accounts without passwords

Cybersecurity researchers at CloudSEK have found a vulnerability that allows hackers to gain unauthorized access to Google accounts using third-party cookies without a password. These files store crucial information like passwords and can bypass Two-Factor Authentication (2FA). Google is actively securing compromised accounts, while Firefox users have relatively little cause for concern. Chrome users should activate ‘Enhanced Safe Browsing’, and Microsoft Edge users should follow their platform’s distinct approach to security.
