The TEEs, which will prevent even Google’s engineers from accessing sensitive data, promise greater privacy and efficiency. Tech experts suggest this tech could also benefit cloud data processing. Meanwhile, the Irish Data Protection Commission is investigating Google’s use of data to train AI models in line with GDPR compliance.
