A new method of delivering malicious ads through vulnerable websites to search engine users has been discovered. This technique can deliver a surge of malware to its victims, leveraging Google’s “dynamic search ads” feature, which uses the content of a website landing page to pair ads with searches. This discovery was made by Jerome Segura, senior director of threat intelligence at Malwarebytes.
