Google Calendar leading to Phishing Scams and Data Thefts

Cybercriminals are exploiting Google Calendar to launch phishing attacks, sending seemingly benign invitations leading to fake websites that harvest victims’ credentials. The increasing use of single sign-on (SSO) systems exacerbates the risks. Prevention measures include enabling Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) or Two-Factor Authentication (2FA), creating complex passwords, and verifying links’ legitimacy before clicking on them.
