Google has banned applications from the Play Store which were found to contain the ‘KoSpy’ spyware, believed to be linked to North Korean hackers. KoSpy allegedly collects data such as SMS messages, call logs, location, files, audio, and screenshots. Any users who downloaded these apps are being urged to delete them immediately. Cybersecurity firm Lookout states that all the apps mentioned have been removed from the Play Store.
