Global CRM Provider Exposed Millions of Clients’ Files Online

Global B2B CRM provider, Really Simple Systems, exposed over 3 million non-password-protected records, including internal invoices, communications, and customer CRM files, in an online database. Much of the information pertained to various businesses and their clients, ranging from small companies to internationally known organizations. The exposure potentially revealed clients’ names, addresses, and CRM plan details, posing a particular risk for identity theft and financial fraud. The company has been notified and is working on resolving the issue.
