glibc Vulnerability Exposes Millions of Linux Systems to Code Execution Attacks

A critical vulnerability in the GNU C Library (glibc), tracked as CVE-2025-4802, exposes Linux systems to privilege escalation attacks. Affecting glibc versions 2.27-2.38, it allows attackers to execute arbitrary code via the LD_LIBRARY_PATH variable. Systems using Rocky Linux, Debian, and Ubuntu may be vulnerable. Updating to glibc 2.39 is recommended for mitigation.
