Thales is actively developing secure technological solutions and measures to withstand the power of quantum computers. It has experimented with end-to-end encrypted phone calls using 5G SIMs and its “Cryptosmart” secure mobile app, and developed a Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) Signature Token incorporating a quantum-resistant digital signature algorithm. Thales has also collaborated on projects to secure both medical data and power and energy storage infrastructure from quantum attacks.
