Fabric Genomics operates a scalable platform used to interpret genetic disease cases, and the acquisition will allow health systems to perform sequencing in-house. The companies also anticipate faster diagnosis of genetic diseases, improved outcomes, and lower healthcare costs. GeneDx plans to expand its market reach in NICU genomic testing, newborn screening, and global commercial expansion.
