GE Healthcare has secured a $44m contract with the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA) to develop and secure regulatory approval for an AI-driven ultrasound technology for pathology and trauma diagnostics. The technology will assist clinicians in diagnosing and treatment, expedite patient care, and improve trauma patient survival rates via injury detection and evaluation.
