Gaps in healthcare vulnerability management persist

Healthcare organisations should prioritise vulnerability management to guard against complex cybersecurity threats, according to a Clearwater report. The study revealed that three in every five analysed assets had a critical vulnerability. Clearwater suggested the regular scanning of vulnerabilities and aligning vulnerability remediation to organisational risk, reflecting similar conclusions drawn by a Black Kite report, which also encouraged proactive, risk-informed management of cybersecurity vulnerabilities.
