Fortive Corporation will acquire EA Elektro-Automatik Holding GmbH, a supplier of high-power electronic test solutions, for $1.45 billion in cash. In addition to strengthening Fortive’s position in electronic testing and measurement, the acquisition is set to to benefit from a projected growth in industries it serves.
