Cyabra, a counter-disinformation firm, has appointed former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to its board. The appointment follows substantial growth for the company, which uses AI technology to identify malicious actors and disinformation campaigns. Cyabra recently raised $5.7m in a funding round. Pompeo’s strategic expertise and understanding of the effects of disinformation campaigns on national security will inform the company’s ongoing efforts to counter online manipulation.
