Despite Apple’s recent updates to its XProtect malware detection tool, this variant can bypass protections, heightening concerns about macOS cybersecurity. The malware installs on devices through a malicious installer package that has legitimate-looking Apple Developer signatures and mimics system behaviours to avoid detection.
