Venture capital firm Flagship Pioneering intends to create and develop approximately 25 new startups in the fields of life sciences, sustainability, and artificial intelligence over the next three to five years with a total capital of $3.6bn. These companies will focus on therapeutics and diagnostics among other areas. This will extend Flagship’s focus on human health and sustainability, and build on its AI portfolio. The total capital raised by Flagship in its funds since 2021 amounts to $6.4bn.
