Melbourne’s Austin Hospital is set to be expanded, following a $275m investment from the Victorian government. The project includes the design of new entrances, reception, lobby and clinical areas, as well as the addition of up to 29 emergency treatment spaces. The work, being done by NH Architecture, is expected to complete in 2028 and accommodate an extra 30,000 emergency patients annually.
