Financial software firm Finastra has alerted customers to a cybersecurity breach that saw a hacker gain access to one of its Secure File Transfer Platform systems. The breach was detected on 7 November 2024 and is currently under investigation. The company has not confirmed if an online forum post selling 400GB of data was linked to the security incident. Finastra was previously targeted by ransomware in March 2020.
