Cybersecurity job loss after a major incident is becoming less likely as organizations shift from blaming individuals to improving breach prevention strategies, a survey by security company Trellix reveals. Instead, businesses are more likely to change their cybersecurity vendors and opt for solutions that offer greater automation and integration. The report also highlights the need for better training and more personnel in cyber teams. The survey included 500 CISOs from the US, UK and Australia who had managed at least one major incident in the past five years.
