The FBI is investigating a cyber attack on Oracle, which resulted in the theft of patient data. Oracle had recently acquired healthcare IT company Cerner Corp and had a $16 billion contract with the US Department of Veterans Affairs. The company alerted customers that the hackers accessed and copied patient data from older Cerner servers to an outside location.
