Faulty valve scuttles Starliner’s first crew launch

The crew test launch of Boeing’s Starliner spacecraft was halted due to trouble with the capsule’s Atlas V rocket. Astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams were set to take off from Florida, but a fault developed in a valve on the rocket’s Centaur upper stage. The next opportunity for the launch will be on Friday night.
