FakeCall malware menaces Android devices

Security experts from Zimperium have discovered an Android malware known as FakeCall, which is used by cybercriminals to carry out complex social engineering attacks. The malware manipulates incoming and outgoing calls, enabling scammers to impersonate legitimate organizations such as banks, tricking victims into handing over sensitive information. The malware is spread through links in phishing emails and gives attackers significant control over the infected device.
