Fake DeepSeek Campaign Attacking macOS Users to Deliver Poseidon Malware

Security researchers have identified a new cyberattack campaign named “Fake DeepSeek Campaign” targeting macOS users. The campaign uses a trojanized application to execute malware dubbed Poseidon Stealer, capable of extracting sensitive data. The malware uses phishing links and compromised websites and masquerades as legitimate software to trick users. Once executed, it can collect browser-stored credentials, cryptocurrency wallets, system information, and keylogging data.
