Exclusive: 4TB of data allegedly leaked in Australian healthcare breach

The Medusa ransomware gang has allegedly stolen more than four terabytes of data, mostly video files, from the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research in Australia. The gang is demanding $500,000 ransom for the stolen data, which can be extended beyond a July 12 deadline for $10,000. The Perkins Institute is working with cybersecurity experts and law enforcement to manage the situation and maintain secure network access.
