Excelsior Orthopaedics hit by data breach affecting 350K

Excelsior Orthopaedics is notifying approximately 350,000 of its New York-based patients that their personal information was exposed during a major data breach last year. The compromised data includes names, dates of birth, addresses, and in fewer cases, sensitive financial information. In response, Excelsior is offering free credit monitoring and identity theft protection services, whilst also enhancing its security measures.
