Europol has arrested a key target linked to the Ragnar Locker ransomware network in France, as well as five other accomplices in Spain and Latvia. The infrastructure related to the ransomware has also been taken down, with servers and a data leakage portal seized in the Netherlands, Germany, and Sweden. The Ragnar Locker group emerged in 2019, and since 2020 has been responsible for attacks on 168 global companies.
