European Commission Boosts Healthcare Cybersecurity

The European Commission has outlined plans for a pan-European Cybersecurity Support Centre for hospitals and healthcare providers, offering tailored guidance, tools, training and services. This is part of an action plan to better secure health infrastructures. Provisions include cybersecurity vouchers to financially assist smaller healthcare providers. The plan also includes an EU-wide early warning system for potential cyber threats and a rapid response service, both launching by 2026.
