The European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Training (CEPOL) has reported a potential compromise of personal data for nearly 100,000 individuals following a cyberattack in May 2024. Targets of the attack include online participants in educational programs for law enforcement officers, border guards and customs officials. The leaked data contained personal data, including names, email addresses, phone numbers, and professional qualifications. Users have been warned to report any misuse of the data.

Sonatype reports rise in open source malware to 17,954
The 1Q 2025 Open Source Malware Index from Sonatype revealed that open source malware packages doubled compared to the same period last year, with 56%
