Epic Systems has significantly increased its net market share in the US acute care EHR market, adding 153 new clients and now including over half of inpatient multispecialty beds in the US, according to KLAS. Meanwhile, rival, Oracle Health, suffered the largest net hospital loss on record, with its growth among smaller hospitals also slowing.
Bill would expand access to digital therapeutics
Sens. Capito and Shaheen reintroduced the Access to Prescription Digital Therapeutics Act of 2023, aiming to expand access to FDA-approved software treatments for Medicare patients.
