Security company AttackIQ has launched a tool to help organizations fend off the CatB ransomware. The malware, which emerged in 2022, kills off certain security processes, steals browser details, and encrypts files. It is suspected to be a revamped Pandora ransomware with evasion tactics and VM-bypass abilities. The tool from AttackIQ emulates CatB’s operation to aid organizations in detecting and preventing this sophisticated attack.
