Don’t Fall For It: Fake Bitdefender Site Will Infect Your PC With Malware

A hacker is utilizing a fake Bitdefender website to spread malware to Windows PCs, according to DomainTools. The fake site offers free antivirus software but installs three pieces of malware, including VenomRAT. This malware can secretly collect passwords and keystrokes, while two additional malware programs can steal more passwords and maintain long-term PC access. Google’s Chrome browser now flags the site as malicious.
