81% of 100 physicians in a US Wolters Kluwer survey have agreed that generative artificial intelligence can improve patient care. As a condition, 89% of physicians required transparency regarding the data sources used by genAI tools. The survey also estimated that genAI could save doctors 20% or more time when accessing data for clinical decisions. However, less than half of surveyed doctors reported having access to AI usage guidelines.
