DirectTrust and the Digital Therapeutics Alliance (DTA) are collaborating on an accreditation system for digital therapeutic apps and platforms. The system will build on existing DirectTrust schemes assessing health apps for transparency, safety, privacy protections, regulatory compliance, and best practice. DTA will be the lead on criteria development for the new program, expected to launch later this year, while DirectTrust will oversee it.
