The UK Department for Health and Social Care (DHSC) has detailed a five-pronged cyber resilience strategy for the health and care sector. The strategy, to be implemented by 2030, will aim to safeguard NHS and adult social care services from cyber threats. Projects include identifying risk areas, leveraging national resources, increasing leader engagement with cyber specialists, boosting security in emerging tech, and supporting each organisation in minimising cyber-attack impact. More specific metrics and measures will be handled by a full implementation plan in summer 2023.
